Pierrakakis: We will achieve even more through collective effort

It is the first foreign university to apply for licensing as the first non-state, non-profit university in Greece.

The filing of the application is the first step in order for the new educational institution to proceed and become operational, as the National Authority for Higher Education (NHE) is now pending the review of the application file. As long as the criteria provided for by the relevant law are met, and after providing clarifications if needed, the green light will be given for the operation of the institution.

As a reminder, the process of submitting applications for permission to establish and operate non-state universities has started in January and will end on March 1, 2025. According to what the Minister of Education, Kyriakos Pierrakakis has said in a recent television appearance, towards the end of spring the names of the non-state universities that will finally operate from next September are expected to be announced.
