Four protests in Cyprus for the tragedy of Tempi – See videos and photos

Hundreds of Greek Cypriots of all ages attended the events to honour the 57 victims of the train accident in Tempi

Newsroom February 28 08:29

Despite the rain and the cold, many Nicosians gathered this afternoon at Eleftherias Square in central Nicosia to pay tribute to the 57 victims in Tempi two years ago.
Greek Cypriots of all ages held placards reading, “I have no Oxygen”, “This crime should not be covered up, all the dead should become a voice”, “Call me if you can reach me” and “Justice for the children who perished”, demanding transparency and punishment for those responsible.

The protest was done with a discreet police presence. Protest rallies are also taking place in Limassol, Larnaca, and Paphos.
