Two people were arrested inside the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki – They were caught with drugs and scales

It was preceded by complaints from citizens that there was trafficking within the campus

Two people were arrested for drug trafficking on Monday afternoon (24/3) inside the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Thessaloniki.

According to thestival.gr, it is a 26-year-old Greek and a 39-year-old Algerian, in whose possession were found quantities of hashish weighing a total of 50 grams and electronic precision scales.

This was preceded by complaints from citizens to the Greek Police that drugs were being trafficked within the campus. Double-armed policemen of the DIA team rushed to the spot and spotted the two men, who fled at the sight of the officers.

The two police officers saw the two men at the scene of the crime.

Eventually, the officers managed to subdue and arrest them outside the Faculty of Philosophy building. The two men are facing felony drug trafficking charges.
