A surprising incident occurred yesterday after the conclusion of the 25th of March celebrations in Athens.

At Syntagma Square, instead of laying flowers, a woman attempted to write offensive slogans on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

According to reports, the woman is employed as a cleaner at the Hellenic Parliament.

She was arrested by police officers and taken into custody for a summary hearing, where she was charged with damaging public property.
