Today the Prime Minister, speaking from the municipality of Peristeri, stated that he will seek an alliance with all pro-European forces.

While speaking to the Mayor of Peristeri, Mr. Pahatouridis, the Prime Minister said that “Once New Democracy wins the elections, I will seek an alliance with all pro-European forces. However, I have an opponent that a few days ago pleaded with the KKE (Communist Party) AND Antarsya”.

Mr. Samaras continued by saying that: “I respect both of the aforementioned parties but they are not pro-European. Once SYRIZA realized that he has no alliances, it changed its story on self-reliance, which is actually impossible. Nobody believes the fairytale of SYRIZA’s self-reliance”, added the Prime Minister.

It is worth mentioning that while entering the town hall of Peristeri, according to reports, the Prime minister received boos from the assembled, while according to a different report a citizen loudly said “Welcome to the city of unemployment.”

However, following his one to one meeting with the Mayor, Mr. Samaras had coffee in the cafeteria of the town hall and spoke with officials and citizens.
