Saint Nicholas invites all young girls ages 6-12 to be part of the Myrofores.
The girls participate in stand watch at the Epitaphios on April 18, Holy Friday evening, 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
Girls are kindly requesting to wear an all-white dress or skirt and top. White shoes are preferred but not necessary.
The girls will be given white gloves to wear and small baskets filled with rose petals to carry
The name “Myrofores” designates the Myrrh-bearing women who went to the tomb of Jesus Christ early on the first day of the week to complete the burial rites that were postponed for the Sabbath.
