The Kremlin has announced that its relations with the US are progressing very well, noting that the damage done to relations with Moscow by the previous US administration was severe.

“Everything is going very well,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told state television reporter Pavel Zarubin.

“The fact is that reviving relations from scratch is a very difficult task that requires intensive diplomatic and other efforts.”
