Traffic regulations on Sunday for the Marathon Peace March – Which roads are closed

The traffic regulations will take effect on roads in the municipalities of Marathon-Nea Makris, Rafina-Pikermio, Pallini - Gerakas - Anthousa, Agia Paraskevi, Halandriou and Psychiko-Philothei

Traffic restrictions will take place on Sunday, May 18 due to the 42nd Marathon Peace March.

Traffic regulations will be in effect from 8:00 to 18:30 on the following avenues and roads in the area of the municipalities of Marathon – Nea Makris, Rafina – Pikermio, Pallini – Gerakas – Anthousa, Agia Paraskevi, Halandriou and Psychiko – Filothei, as follows:

Marathonomachon-Agias Paraskevi, in the section between the Marathon mound and Marathonos Avenue, between 08.00 and 09.30 hours.

Marathonos Avenue, in the section between Marathonomachon-Agias Paraskevi Street and Dionysos Avenue, between 09.30 and 10.30 hours.

Marathonos Avenue, in the section between Dionysos Avenue and Aviaireia Street, between 09.30 and 10.30 hours.

Marathonos Avenue, in the section between Avia and Al. Fleming, during the hours of 10.30 – 13.00.
Marathon, in the section between A. Fleming and A. Fleming, during the hours of 10.30 – 13.00.

Marathonos Avenue, in the section between Al. Fleming and Aghios Christoforos (Pikermio – Marathon side road), during the hours 13.00-14.00.

Marathonos Avenue, in the section between Ag. Christoforou Street (Pikermio – Marathon side road) and Ag. Demetriou Street (Ev. Poulaki), between 14.00 and 14.30 hours.

Marathonos Avenue, in the section between Ag. Dimitriou (Ev. Poulaki) and Ethn. Antistaseos, during the hours 14.30-16.00.

Marathonos Avenue, in the section between the streets of Ethn. Antistaseos and Kleisthenous, during the hours 16.00΄- 17.00΄.

From the time of 16.00 to 17.00 – 16.00 hours.
Messogeion Avenue, in the section between Kleisthenous and Halandriou streets, between 16.00 and 17.30.

– 16.5 – 16.5 p.m.

Messogeion Avenue, in the section between Republic Avenue (Lt. H.E.M.) and Halandriou Street, during the hours 17.30 – 18.00.

Messogeion Avenue, in the section between Democracy Avenue and Cyprus Street (Central Entrance of the Ministry of National Economy), during the hours 18.00-18.30

In addition, vertical passage of vehicles will not be allowed along the route of this route, except at the following controlled vertical crossing junctions:

Marathonos & Dionysos streets.

L. Marathonos & Avtrovia.

L. Marathonos & Al. Fleming (Rafina intersection).

L. Marathonos & Kyani Akti.

Marathonos & Ag. Christoforou (Pikermio junction).

L. Marathonos & Ev. Poulakis (Monaxia junction).

Marathonos L. & Ethn. Antistasis (Pallini junction).

Marathonos L. & Lavrio – Kleisthenous (Stavros junction).
