In a significant operation, Greek law enforcement officials from the Organized Crime Division conducted a raid on a residence in Thrakomakedones, resulting in the arrest of two individuals on charges related to illegal possession of firearms and narcotics.

According to reports, the authorities identified and located the suspects after an investigation aimed at verifying complaints and allegations. During the search, officers uncovered a military-style rifle, illegal drugs, counterfeit license plates, official seals bearing government insignia, and other suspicious items. Additionally, one of the suspects was found to have failed to update his residence registration as required by law due to imposed restrictions.

The search, which took place in the presence of a judicial officer, yielded significant seizures: a combat rifle with a magazine containing nine rounds, a bulletproof vest, five additional cartridges, 27 grams of raw cannabis, 3.6 grams of cocaine, two precision scales, sixteen drug paraphernalia items, two counterfeit license plates, two official government seals, four rectangular stamps with business logos, a fake ID card, and two laptops.

The suspects were taken to the relevant prosecutor’s office for further questioning.

Authorities stated that both individuals face multiple charges, including possession of illegal weapons, drug trafficking, forgery, and violation of residence restrictions.
