No aid has been distributed in Gaza because of unsafe access, says the United Nations

So far... no supplies have managed to leave the Kerem Shalom loading site, UN spokesman Stephane Dujarik said

Newsroom May 21 09:38

No humanitarian aid has been distributed to the Gaza Strip, the United Nations said today, two days after Israel lifted an 11-month blockade it had imposed and began allowing limited distributions into the enclave through the Kerem Shalom border crossing.

No more famine in Gaza, but food insecurity remains, says UN

At least 1,000 people have died while waiting to be medically evacuated from Gaza

“So far … no supplies have managed to leave the Kerem Shalom loading area,” said a spokesman for the UN Stefan Dujarik, adding that this was because the Israeli authorities only allowed access to areas inside Gaza “where we felt it was not safe” and where the possibility of looting was likely due to the prolonged deprivation.
