“Today is a starting point for strengthening our services with high quality human resources. You are called upon to assume an essential role in shaping the next generation of the Hellenic Public Revenue Service, making use of the knowledge and the new perspective you bring,” Pitsilis said, noting at the same time the ongoing investments in infrastructure and the working environment of the services.

During the ceremony, the Heads of the General and Independent Directorates presented the work and operation of their services, as well as key issues related to the structure of the Hellenic Tax Administration, the special salary scale, the evaluation process, the training provided and the prospects for development within the Agency.

The swearing-in process is expected to continue in the coming days for the remaining 197 new employees. Immediately after its completion, the nine-month introductory training program at the Tax and Customs Academy of the AADE will follow.
