According to a press release from the Prime Minister’s office, the Government Council for National Security (KYSEA) will hold an emergency meeting at 19:00, chaired by Kyriakos Mitsotakis, to address the latest developments in the region.

Similarly, Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias will visit the Pentagon today to discuss all possible scenarios on the ground.

In his weekly review published on Facebook, the Prime Minister referred to the situation, calling for restraint and international coordination. He emphasized that Europe must rise to the occasion, with discussions set to take place in institutional forums next week, including the NATO Summit and the European Council.

“Europe must live up to the moment, for the sake of international peace and prosperity,” the Prime Minister noted.
