2025 Bases: How the minimum admission base per field will move – The first estimates

The estimates of the career advisor, Stratos Stratigakis - Why the number of high achievers has halved this year - At 8.43 will be the threshold for admission to a university department this year

Newsroom June 27 02:31

At 8.43, it appears that the Minimum Admission Base (MBE) will move to 8.43 in the 4th scientific field, which includes Economics and Computer Science departments, according to Stratos Stratigakis.

The educational analyst and mathematician spoke to SKAI today about the critical process of filling out the computerized form, the common mistakes that students and parents make, and how they should move to make their choices after the Panhellenic exams. At the same time, he also commented on the low performance of students this year and why the number of high achievers was halved.

Base 2025: How the minimum admission base will move by field

The Minimum Admission Base is formed in each of the four disciplines by the average performance of the candidates who declared the field.

Thus, from the processing of the statistical data of the scores by the mathematician-analyst Mr. Stratos Stratigakis, it appears that in the 1st field (humanities, law, and social sciences), the lowest is formed at 11.22 (from 11.37 last year) and the highest at 13.46 (13.64 last year).

In the 2nd field (science and technology), the lowest is 9.79 (from 9.69 last year) and the highest is 14.69 (14.53 last year).

In the 3rd field (health and life sciences), the lowest EBE is 11.98 (up from 11.96 last year) and the highest is 14.38 (14.35 last year).

In the 4th field (business and information sciences), the lowest EBE is, as predicted, at 8.43 (up from 8.34 last year) and the highest at 12.65 (12.52 last year).

From July 4 to 7, the Minimum Admission Bases will be announced

Stratos Stratigakis disclosed – among other things – that “the Minimum Admission Bases are expected to be announced from July 4 to 7 when the Computerized Admissions process will begin.”
