Thriller in Palaio Faliro: Coast Guard may have video showing the little girl alive (updated)

The sand that the coroner found on the body of the child and what it shows for the place of death - The identity of the child remains a mystery - A key element in the concern of the police is the fact that no one sought the little girl

Two Videos May Hold the Key to the Mystery of the Dead Girl in Palaio Faliro

Two surveillance videos now in the possession of the Hellenic Coast Guard may prove crucial in solving the chilling case of the little girl found dead in Palaio Faliro. The footage shows a woman walking with three children — two on foot and one in a stroller.

The child in the stroller appears to be wearing clothing similar to the swimsuit found on the deceased girl. Later, a second camera captures the same stroller — now empty — left in a nearby park.

This detail has prompted police and coast guard officials to focus on identifying and locating the woman in the footage to determine whether the child was indeed with her, and what happened from the time they arrived at the beach until she left, abandoning the stroller.

Growing Suspicion of Murder

The possibility that the four-year-old girl was murdered is gaining increasing traction. Ongoing investigations are pointing in that direction, especially given that no one has come forward to report the child missing — a fact that raises even more suspicion.

Authorities have ruled out the possibility that the child fell from a boat.

They also consider it highly unlikely that the girl’s parents may have drowned, which would explain why no one is searching for her — as no other bodies have been found in the area.

Another key piece of evidence supporting the murder theory comes from the autopsy: it suggests that the girl likely drowned near the beach, as sand and seawater were found in her lungs, indicating the drowning occurred close to shore.

Investigations are now focusing on individuals and families who were seen in or around the beach during the estimated time of the child’s death, using surveillance footage from the area. Authorities are also closely reviewing witness accounts that mention children being present at the beach where the girl’s body was discovered.

The version that the four-year-old girl who was found dead at dawn last Sunday at the beach of Paleo Faliro is becoming increasingly likely to have been murdered. Evidence from the intensive investigations points in this direction, while the fact that no one has searched for the child further strengthens it.

So far, the investigations by the Coast Guard and police have ruled out the scenario of the little girl having fallen from a boat.

It is also unlikely that the parents of the child have drowned and for this reason, they have not searched for the child, since in such a case their bodies would have been found.

The third piece of evidence supporting the murder scenario comes from the forensic examination: It was determined that the child probably drowned on the beach, because there was an ingestion of sand and water, so the drowning took place near the beach.

Investigations are now focusing on individuals and families who were moving at or near the beach at the critical time that the child’s death is determined, based on camera footage in the area. At the same time, testimonies about children at the beach where the little girl was found dead are being thoroughly examined.
