A closed security meeting to discuss military plans for Gaza is being held by Benjamin Netanyahu, according to Israel’s Channel 12.

The meeting is attended by Defense Minister Israel Katz, Chief of the Armed Forces General Staff Major General Eyal Zamir, and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer.

The meeting comes after yesterday’s cabinet meeting, during which Netanyahu announced to ministers that he intends to seek their approval for the full recapture of the Gaza Strip despite opposition from some members of the army.
