Harry Styles used a different name to run the Berlin Marathon

The 31-year-old finished in 2 hours, 59 minutes, and 13 seconds

Newsroom September 24 09:40

Harry Styles ran the Berlin Marathon on Sunday, September 21, completing the course in under three hours. The singer tried to keep a low profile by registering under a pseudonym instead of his real name.

Organizers confirmed to the German news agency DPA, according to the Associated Press, that the 31-year-old singer took part in the race, finishing with a time of 2:59:13. He appeared almost unrecognizable, wearing a headband, sunglasses, and competing under the pseudonym Stent Sarandos—a play on the name of Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos.

Despite his efforts to remain anonymous, Paralympic and Olympic gold medalist Richard Whitehead managed to take a photo with him at the finish line. In the picture, posted by the athlete on Instagram, the singer is seen wearing black shorts and a blue jacket.

Harry Styles had previously run the Tokyo Marathon in March, finishing in 3 hours and 24 minutes, with a pace of 4:51 per kilometer. Back in January 2024, his personal coach Thibaut David revealed that Styles could run a mile in five minutes, highlighting the singer’s dedication and persistence in training.
