April 5 is International Pillow Fighting day with massive pillow fights around the world from Shanghai to New York, and of course Greece! Two pillow fights have already been organized at Syntagma Square in Athens and Aristotelous Square Thessaloniki.

Pillow-fighting enthusiasts over the age of 15 are urged to bring their pillows to the squares at 2 p.m. The rules make it clear that verbaal abuse and violence are not allowed. Pillow fights are aimed at being fun and light-hearted and in the spirit of playfulness. Wacking a player until they drop or stuffing pillows with bricks are out of the question! The fight should stop in case of an injury.
