International conference on Friday in Athens on the pressure on the judiciary in Europe

Participants include university professors, judges, prosecutors from Greece, France, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland and Serbia, as well as MEDEL members

“The regression of the rule of law, the pressure on the judiciary in Europe and the role of the European Union” is the theme of the international conference organised tomorrow Friday (11.30 a.m.) at the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry by the “Society of Greek Judicial Officers for Democracy and Freedoms” in cooperation with MEDEL.

University professors, judges, prosecutors from Greece, France, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland and Serbia, as well as members of MEDEL (Magistrats Européens pour la Démocratie et les Libertés) will participate in the international conference.

The President of the Society of Greek Judicial Officers for Democracy and Freedoms, Admiral Maria Papadimitriou and the President of MEDEL and President of Magistratura Democratica (Italy) Mariarosaria Guglielmi will address the audience.
