Newsroom November 27 08:44

New Democracy records a half-point increase compared to September in the latest GPO poll presented on Star’s main newscast.
In voting intention (the company does not provide a vote estimate), New Democracy gathers 25.2%, exactly double PASOK’s 12.6%, which is up by 0.3 points.

Next comes Hellenic Solution with 10.4% (+0.6), and the Communist Party (KKE) with 8.5% (+0.6).

Plefsi Eleftherias shows significant losses, dropping to 5.8% (–2.1), while SYRIZA falls to 4.1% (–1.1).
Foni Logikis stands at 3% (+0.2), and NIKI, Democracy Movement, MeRA25, and New Left range between 1.5% and 2.3%.
7.7% of respondents choose “another party,” while undecided voters are measured at 13.3%.

Key Issues for Citizens

The top concern for the public is high prices and low incomes, at 62.8%, a jump of 5 points since September’s survey for Star.
This is followed by corruption (15.9%) and healthcare (5.1%).

Government & PASOK Evaluations

A striking 79.6% evaluate the government’s performance negatively or rather negatively.
Due to the OPEKEPE case, 66.4% say their trust in the government has decreased.

After the next national elections—whenever they are held—27.2% say they would like New Democracy to govern with Kyriakos Mitsotakis as prime minister, while 70.8% prefer a different government.

For PASOK, 81.7% of respondents rate its performance as the main opposition negatively or rather negatively.
