Mitsotakis on rent refund: We support our fellow citizens, especially those most in need

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis referred in a TikTok post to the rent refund for 900,000 tenants

Newsroom November 28 05:40

“A permanent measure that truly supports their income is becoming reality thanks to the improved course of our economy,” the Prime Minister emphasizes and explains:

Από σήμερα και κάθε Νοέμβριο, σχεδόν 900.000 ενοικιαστές θα δουν ένα ολόκληρο ενοίκιο να επιστρέφει στον λογαριασμό τους.

“Beneficiaries receive a refund of up to €800 with an additional €50 for each child. Also, the amount doubles reaching up to €1,600 when the family covers not only the rent of their main residence but also student housing. That is why it is crucial that the actual rents are declared in contracts so tenants receive the real compensation they are entitled to.”
