Concert – Tribute to Mikis Theodorakis today at the Christmas Village in Pedion tou Areos

Music, activities for the whole family and a festive atmosphere today at the Attica Region’s Christmas Village – See the full program

Newsroom November 30 09:07

The Christmas Village of the Attica Region at Pedion tou Areos has been open since yesterday, where children and adults can experience the Christmas spirit in every possible way.

Tribute to Mikis Theodorakis
Today, Sunday at 19:30, the main stage of the village will be filled with the timeless melodies of the legendary composer Mikis Theodorakis. Manolis Mitsias, Rita Antonopoulou and Violeta Ikari join their voices and invite the public to an emotional concert featuring beloved songs that have marked generations. A celebration of music, culture and collective memory, open to the whole family.

Street Artists & Improvisations
The festivities begin early, as from noon – at 12:00 – the Village’s Street Artists take over: musicians, performers and street artists appear in various parts of the park, creating surprise “mini stages”. Improvisations, music of all kinds and unexpected encounters turn a walk in the park into an authentic experience, framed by the Christmas lights.

Rich activities for the whole family
At the Protergia Christmas Village in Pedion tou Areos, visitors can also enjoy a rich program for all ages. Among other things:

• The impressive ice rink, where children and adults can glide on the ice and enjoy moments of laughter and magic.
• The fairytale carousel, with illuminated horses and an atmosphere of nostalgic joy.
• The magical “Protergia Magic Lights” path, with stunning lighting that brings the space to life and offers unique photo opportunities.
• The Protergia Photo Corner for keepsake photos, as well as the Silent Disco – a unique dance experience for all ages.

Closing
• The Cosmote Telekom – Hub & Santa’s House, with special educational activities for young visitors.
• The EYDAP Water Magic World in the Rhodonas area, with an impressive waterfall – an experience that combines fun along the path of thousands of lights with environmental awareness.
• The interactive Snappi – AI Photobooth & Storm Experience, promising original and “digitally magical” moments.

And of course, food corners offering Christmas flavors at every step.

The event is organized by the Attica Region. The main sponsor of the Christmas Village is Protergia, with sponsors Cosmote Telekom, EYDAP, RELEASE ATHENS FESTIVAL and Snappi. The music channel MAD is the communication sponsor and has curated the music program.
