PAOK FC in coordination with the government and Romanian authorities
PAOK FC is in direct contact with the relevant government ministers, as well as with the Romanian authorities and the Greek embassy in Bucharest. The club is already taking care of the treatment of the injured, the repatriation of the deceased to Greece, and providing support to the families of those who lost their lives. PAOK representatives are already traveling to the area of the tragedy, accompanied by a lawyer, to address potential legal matters and ensure effective handling of any arising issues. A statement from Ivan Savvidis is also expected shortly.

According to the latest information, the PAOK fans who died were from Katerini, Alexandria in Imathia (3 people), and Western Thessaloniki.
The victims’ ages range from 28 to 30 years old.

Seven victims confirmed, says the Greek Embassy in Romania
Seven people, all PAOK supporters travelling to France in a tourist van, are the death toll from the tragic accident following a head-on collision in the village of Laghoz, near Timisoara, Romania, as confirmed by the Greek Embassy in Bucharest.
At 17:00, an embassy delegation will travel to the scene of the accident, which is located a seven-hour drive from the Romanian capital.

The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been in immediate contact and cooperation with the Romanian authorities since the accident became known.
