Severe weather phenomena are now limited to Thrace, the Eastern Aegean, and the Dodecanese. After the morning hours of Wednesday (18/2), they are expected to gradually weaken and cease, marking the end of the current spell of bad weather, according to meteorologist Thodoris Kolydas.
As he notes in a post, on Thursday (19/2) the weather will improve noticeably, with limited cloud cover and milder conditions across most of the country, offering a brief respite.
However, a new change is expected on Friday, as a disturbance from the west will bring back rain and local thunderstorms. On Saturday, after quite some time, classic northerly-flow weather will prevail, with a marked temperature drop that over the weekend will reach up to 5°C.
Based on early indications, Clean Monday will be mostly clear but relatively cold, with maximum temperatures around 14°C—values entirely normal for the season but likely to feel more pronounced after a prolonged period of higher temperatures.
