“Lefkada as seen by its visitors” is the title of a Facebook initiative, since August 2013, showcasing photographs of the beautiful Ionian island taken by visitors and tourists.

The photos were later included in a small campaign, as seen on YouTube.

According to the page’s creators, the majority of the pics show Lefkada’s best-known beaches, such as Porto Katsiki, Egremni, Kalamitsi, Kathisma, Mylos, Aghios Nikitas and Pefkoulia.

Other images show sites distinctly “off the beaten path”, such as Kastro, Ammoglossa, Ai Yiannis, Mikros Gialos, Aghiofilli, Skorpios and nearby islets, and the island’s capital, amongst others.
